The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) – Local Coordination Committee (LCC) Denmark is a non-profit and non-political organization dedicated to serving the Nepalese community in Southern Denmark, working closely with NRNA Denmark.  LCC- Dk is formed in 2017 – 2019 to support/ facilities NCC- Dk to meet the objectives as described in International coordination council ( ICC). Its primary aim is to protect the rights and welfare of Nepalese residents while promoting and preserving Nepali culture within the region.  

Operating under the guiding principle of ‘Think Globally, Act locally’, the organization actively advocates for Nepali culture, hosts events to increase awareness about Nepali traditions, and fosters strong connections among those enthusiastic about Nepalese culture. Notably, it annually organizes important Nepalese festivals, such as Nepali New Year, Teej, Loshar, Dashain, and Tihar, while also arranging a variety of sports activities for both children and adults.  

To enhance community bonds, the association collaborates with local organizations, various immigrant groups and the Danish population within the region. Some notable collaborations include partnerships with Odense Kommune, 3F (Denmark’s largest and most powerful trade union and unemployment fund), and most recently, OK (the largest network of filling stations in Denmark).  

The leadership and management responsibilities of the organization are overseen by the Executive Committee, elected every two years through a democratic voting process.
