Nepal Music Festival Denmark is a volunteer social organization registered in Denmark since 2013. We are solely focus on deliberate movement to promote Nepalese music, musician and Culture to the world. We believe that it is a movement to integrate society and culture via peacefulness and harmony of Music and culture and side by side exposing our Nepalese musical and cultural identity in the community we live in.
Copenhagen to Kathmandu is our yearly event which we believe is an important platform for local artists and musicians to show their talent as well as a stage for Nepalese musicians fromNepal. Beside the main yearly event Copenhagen to Kathmandu, we also run various other small and big scale events throughout the year Such as Jamming event, Summer event /concert and collaborative events with other organizations and groups. Recent years we are also collaborating with an NGO organization Peace and Beautiful Children welfare (PBCW). We jointly work together to invite Nepalese artists/bands/singers to Europe and arrange shows/events within our European schengen countries network. The main purpose of this collaboration is to contribute to PBCW who is taking care of underprivileged childrens in Nepal including food, hospitality and education. Nmf Jamming is a Musical project/event which is solely held to promote Local Nepalese musicians and singers. It is a free stage where every interested individual can come to stage and show their talent and jam with the audience who come to entertain and quick refreshment from their busy life.
It is a free entrance event where we Nmf sells food and drink and holds up partial organization expenses and investment for our upcoming events and project. The event was held every month but due to operational management issues, it is held about 3 to 4 times a year.
